My name is Zoe and it’s almost my bat mitzvah! To my family the most important part of being a Jewish adult is doing chesed for others. For my mitzvah project my friends and I will be baking and selling goodies to raise money for lev lalev orphanage in Natanya (which happens to be my middle name!) Israel.
They provide food, shelter, clothing, and a loving home to neglected and abandoned children throughout Israel. No child should have to face the world alone. And with the support of Lev LaLev these children are shown love, positive role models and given the skills and tools that have helped many of them go on to live happy and successful lives. I think it’s easy to forget how lucky we are to have families and a roof over our heads and it is really important to me to be able to help as many young children as I can.My goal is to raise $7000, if you can’t stop by for goodies you can still donate here.
