Alice’s Bat Mitzvah Project

Alice’s Bat Mitzvah Project

My Goal:

My name is Alice Dweck and I am 11 years old. I am raising money for a Jewish Orphanage in Israel. My goal is to raise 1,200 dollars for a girl in need to receive art lessons . My passion is art and I love to create pretty and colorful drawings. I am becoming Bat Misvahed in April, and in honor of my Bat Misvah I want to raise money for this girl, to receive art lessons.

The reason I love art:

Art is my passion because there is no limit to masterpieces. Ever since I was little my dream was to be an artist. There are no mistakes in art . In art there is no specific thing you need to draw. What I do is I start sketching something, and then I make something out of it.

Why I’m raising money:

I love doing Hesed and helping people. Out of everything I raised, this is probably my biggest goal ever. It’s not only me doing the mitzvah. If you donate money, that is a big misvah, even if it’s a small amount. I think it is amazing that Lev LaLev has an organization like this. It helps a ton of people and it’s a huge misvah. I just want to say thank you to the people who help me in my goal, because without you and Lev LaLev, and the girls we are trying to help, I wouldn’t be able to accomplish this.
