For my bat mitzvah project, I chose to pair up with Lev LaLev Orphanage in Netanya, Israel to raise money for therapy animals or pets for the girls living in the orphanage. Throughout my life I have always loved animals and I have always spent a lot of time around many different animals. I feel like they are friends who never judge you and can be there to comfort you in hard times. I always felt that having a pet was very important and I am lucky to have so many.
I would love for the girls at Lev LaLev to feel the love I get from my pets. The girls living in this orphanage had very difficult home lives and I am hoping that raising money for them to get pets or therapy animals will help them. My goal is to raise $1800 to go towards the animals and supplies. I hope that everyone can find a way to chip in and make these girls’ lives a little brighter with an animal that will love them unconditionally.
