Dear Family and Friends,
As I prepare to become a Bat Mitzvah this summer, I feel grateful for all that I have and believe it is important to think beyond myself and help others who may not have the same opportunities and support.
For my Mitzvah project, I have chosen to support Lev LaLev, a loving home in Israel for girls who have come from impoverished and unstable homes and need extra care and support. Some of these girls are my age or even younger, and their lives have been very different from mine.
Lev LaLev provides its girls with housing, clothing, education, and therapy, but most importantly, it gives them the gifts of love, stability, and hope for a brighter future. The organization also helps them stay connected to their Jewish heritage by celebrating holidays and traditions, giving them a strong sense of identity and belonging.
My goal is to raise enough money to bring an ice cream truck to the girls during their summer program and again on their first day of school in the fall so they can enjoy a fun and memorable treat together. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love ice cream, and I thought it would be a sweet way to share something that brings me so much happiness with them!
Every donation will help make these special visits possible for the girls. Thank you for helping me celebrate this important milestone by bringing a little extra joy, sweetness, and smiles to girls who truly deserve it.
With love and gratitude,
Kaia XO
