For my mitzvah project I’m Making baskets filled with things like a book, journal, pens , blanket, and stuffed animal. I am sponsoring the girls at Lev La Lev to have a bat mitzvah celebration. While in Israel I will have the opportunity to visit the girls and have a celebration with them. This is a very special thing to do so please donate to help make this happen. The reason I chose this for my project is because my Torah portion is Shemot and the story of how Moses mother left him in the Nile to float away in a basket after a while the Pharoas daughter found Him while bathing in the river and decided to to adopt him. I decided to make a basket with many things included in it and give it the foster care children to incorporate how Moses was let off in basket and became an orphan and how important it was that Moses was saved and took care of to then become the leader of the Jewish people. I’m looking to raise overall 3,600.
